Maya's Story
Maya Ramsahoye, international pageant queen and Miss Queen of the World 2024, is now the National Director for Queen of the World Canada and director for MIЯROR Management International. Originally from Wainwright, Alberta, Canada, Maya is an international model, model trainer and coach, pageant coach, professional makeup artist, entrepreneur, fashion show director and producer, and national director.
She also runs MIЯROR Consulting, a makeup artistry business focused on beauty education that empowers women through cosmetics. In addition, Maya is the creator of “EveryBODY”, which began as her pageant platform and has evolved into the EveryBODY Fashion Show (EBFS) — an event that bridges the modeling industry with the broader community. The platform embraces and celebrates unrestricted beauty, diversity, and authenticity.
With over eight years of industry experience, Maya has worn many professional hats, all of which shaped her passion for business and her vision for changing the modeling world. Her diverse background in fashion and modeling inspired her to launch her own agency — a company built on values of respect, support, and genuine development.
Maya dreamed of creating a space where models are embraced, encouraged, and truly seen. She is now a passionate agency founder with a mission to nurture talent and build a supportive, empowering environment for models. With a clear vision to redefine industry standards, Maya believes that every model deserves to be respected, mentored, and guided throughout their career. At the heart of her agency’s mission is a strong focus on development — not only in terms of skill and professionalism but also in confidence and personal growth.
Through hands-on mentorship and a people-first approach, Maya continues to foster a space where models thrive, feel valued, and are inspired to reach their full potential. Having literally walked in a model’s shoes, she is uniquely equipped to advocate for models’ experience, well-being, and career opportunities.
